Weekly Update - 21st of July

Hey friends!

Things have been going great, the smut engine is running like a well-oiled machine. I've made lots of progress on lots of things, and releases are reaching a point of consistency without delays, yay. Best of all, I'm getting the editing done along with the writing, no more separation of the two, so there's no "bulk editing" moments that drain my soul.

Anyway, updates:

"Free" Stories

The New Girl's fifteenth chapter should be sitting at 9k by the end of today. I've had to divert some writing time at points to the monthly exclusive, but the advantage of that is that, when it comes out next week, I'll be able to then focus heavily on this and get it finished promptly! (I am aiming for this to be out next week also, with any luck.)

Coach Kyln's fifth chapter is at 7k right now, hopefully 7.5 or 8 by the end of the day. It'll be out very soon, perhaps next week. Big ol' anal scene, really. Also setting up for the future of this series, which - if I didn't mention already - will be sissification, Mpreg, D/s romance. I'll be writing this in the background even if it's not voted on (at least intermittently) so no worries if you enjoy it and it doesn't get chosen!

Patreon Stories

The Coven's Plaything is at 9k now, and will probably go up to about 12ish, so it'll be out early next week. Wednesday ideally. Because of how my schedule works now I get extra time on Fridays (the paid stories are done by then) so I did 2k instead of 1k last Friday, if I manage the same today then it may even be out on Monday or Tuesday!

The summer special is getting on good. Honestly, this may end up super long, we'll see - I realise that there's lots of writing space in this particular plotline, and I may end up throwing a vote up to see if people want me to effectively add it as a monthly option once it's released. I'll do this shortly, because it will effect how much "montage" there is (ideally none, but there's a bit of a temptation theme woven into it now, and it's...well, I'm enjoying it!)

Paid Stories

My Hung Futa Big Sister got its fifth chapter this morning. I'll post a link after I finish this up! Almost at the end of the series, and I have some thoughts: I am not sure what is optimal, in terms of series lengths. 

I am very much (in this particular use of my talents, at least) a "garden path" writer - if you're familiar at all with the phrase Sanderson (way out of this field of course, and hinting at my true nature, haha) used. Basically, I don't really plan anything. I just write, and after the first chapter or two, the rest tends to form up instinctually. I may have ideas of scenes - like for Mistress Amber, there will absolutely be that lucky mofo cockworshipping that fucking succubabe at some point - but otherwise it's very much heat of the moment.

Basically, with the Big Sister storyline, I feel like it could be longer? But I don't know - I was wary, when I wrote the OG Hung Futa Boss, of running out of "novel" scenes and such. But when I reflect on Adventuring with Three Hot Futas, I feel that final scene could've honestly been written over two separate chapters, and it certainly wouldn't have hurt things to have done so! (Honestly, it's what spurred this experimentation in story lengths.)

It may just be that I vary the series length based on the actual storyline in my head. I feel for certain flavours - corruption, dominance - the length can work well to make the descent into depravity very hot. But - and this may be me, twisted as I am - I feel with the romantic ones, it gets stale faster? I am optimistic about the Cosplayer storyline - it has inbuilt variety, given the outfits and futa+male aspect - but this is obviously an area that requires trial and error.

Anyway, ramble over, some thoughts for those interested! And I am always interested in hearing yours, as well, so by all means comment or message your thoughts.

(Also side-topic: I need more animal cocks in things, as while I would like to write a "My Hung Futa Girlfriend... Is a Centauress" or some shit, I think it about time I do, I don't know, dragon dicks? Cat or dog dicks? Snake ladies with two cocks? Maybe I'll post a poll for this, too, hahaha. Fucking futas, man.)
