[Hereafter] Chapter CCIX: Reuniting with Ritsuka
Added 2025-08-30 13:24:04 +0000 UTCI looked at the map of the PRT bases on the wiki, and the dot in Indiana looked close enough to be Indianapolis, so I stationed it there. I needed some place for the team to stop and rest, and that was as good a place as any.
Also, if a certain director in that city happened to be named as a reference to certain trio of slapstick comedians from the mid-20th century, I certainly couldn't say, but you certainly might not be wrong to think so. Certainly.
This one's more of a cooldown chapter, to put space between the last few chapters and next chapter. Which is not to say it's meaningless fluff, only that it's not as exciting as the battle and the tense negotiations with Cuchulainn.

There’s a part of me that feels like Mash might hug Taylor. (And wouldn’t that be a shock/icebreaker… on the other hand, seeing her hugging Jackie could end up causing the same effect, especially after Jackie calls her ‘Mom’ I could absolutely see Jackie intentionally aiming to get a reaction from them - she knows she can’t hurt them, so like the child she is, she’ll be a Troll)
