I've been waiting to get to a good spot to have it drop for a while, and this intermission felt like the right time to give the team access to something like that.
And up top, Taylor continues to catastrophize. Yeah. What is it that she really fears facing in an Earth Bet Singularity? Does she even really have to worry? Is it a real concern? Well... Everyone will be finding out in a few weeks.
EDIT: Knew I was forgetting something in that Skill Rank Up description. Yesterday was very busy and I was exhausted, so I threw it together a little too quickly.

I am suddenly struck by the desire to see a visual of Jackie’s new outfit. It sounds badass, and certainly better than her canonical ascension outfits.

2024-10-16 16:50:58 +0000 UTCThe next chapter will detail a few more limitations that come along with the skill, including the one that comes with it being built specifically off of the skill it was built upon. Of course, one of the most important ones is in the Rank Up description. That is, spheres of influence and natural talents. Almost anyone can learn almost anything with enough time, effort, and dedication, but just because you can play the notes doesn't mean you can make the music.

2024-10-13 09:33:48 +0000 UTCIn all seriousness, I get the impression that that should AT LEAST let Taylor pull off her best swarm feats without a swarm, so long as there's an equivalent skill that doesn't directly have an external dependency, or that does if Da Vinci builds it, and that's kinda... yeah. "Stacking 3 class templates on a human" is what I feel confident that that should permit, and that's just... Bork.
