Mobile-Companion for A5e 0.16.6 and Item-Piles Support!
Added 2025-10-27 16:46:36 +0000 UTCHello dear patrons!
It’s been a while since the last update, but it’s worth the wait.
Today, version 0.16.6 of Mobile-Companion leaves Early Access. These versions are the last that support version 1.0.10 of the A5e system.
This version comes with the following features:
All item information (including class, culture, heritage, etc. features) linked inside another item will be displayed in a dialog.
Linked actors inside items open as read-only actors directly inside the app, indicated by a purple header color.
Added proficiency bonus to the skill tab.
As a thanks to the community, I raised the spell level for the light version to 2nd-level spells.
Fixes duplicate spells appearing whenever a spell slot is toggled.
Players can now apply spell effects to themselves.
Players can delete items from their inventory.
I was hoping I could get the next iteration (0.17.x, which is currently in Snapshot) into Early Access with this update, but it’s not there yet (though it’s close). It will be awesome! I am working on an addition to Mobile-Companion that allows the GM to open a trade window with their players. These can either be merchants or item piles. An early prototype can be seen here: https://youtu.be/I4QK3tA7u4c
The most up-to-date version is released under Snapshot and might be in Early Access within a week or two.
If you are a D&D player, I know what you are thinking right now, and the answer is yes.
Item-Piles Support for A5e
While I was working on the Trade App, I was a bit annoyed that I had to use an older version of Item Piles (which is not mandatory, by the way), so I put together a support module. I haven’t tested it thoroughly, but I haven’t encountered any issues so far.
New Patreon Tier
I also added a new Patreon tier called “Thanks for the Free Stuff.” This doesn’t come with any benefits (besides my gratitude!) and is meant for those who just want to support my work on the free modules.
So long,
Syrious
