Mobile-Companion DND5e 0.12.1 and 0.13.2 (EA)

Hello dear Patreons!

Today's update releases version 0.12.1 to the public. This version comes with a new "Traits" tab. There, you can see all your characters traits like movement speed, senses, immunities etc. For more information about it, check out the early-access post.

Additionally, I just finished 0.13.2 which adds the "Features" tab. There, you can get all the details about class, race, background and other features. Check out the attach video. Beginning with version 0.13.2 you will need at least version 4.3 of D&D 5e.

I am really glad that Mobile-Companion is coming along so well and all the support, appreciation and comments help tremendously. Thank you for your incredible support, appreciation, and comments. Your encouragement helps Mobile-Companion flourish!

Warm regards,

Syrious

Hi, I am not familiar with this module. There was a module named 'Real Dice' which is obsolete with Foundry v12, since manual rolling is now built in there.Using Sheet-Only you can click on like an attack for a weapon, roll manually and input the rolled number if Foundry is set up correctly. Whether or not pixel dice work I can't tell. But since there is an integration module (https://foundryvtt.com/packages/pixels) the chances are high. Regarding Mobile-Companion manual rolling (or any rolling) would not work, because MC does not use rolls.

Hey another question! You had mentioned building in support for rippers real rolls module, but I just bought a set of pixels dice and I’d love if those could be used. So I guess the question is, what are the chances?

Hi and thanks! Mobile-Companion does not include targeting or movement features. My intention with Mobile-Companion is to provide a user-friendly character sheet that can sync data with Foundry, while allowing players to manage the rest of the game manually, without additional distractions. In most in-person games, the DM or a trusted player with a laptop manages the movement of actors, targeting, etc. Adding these functionalities to Mobile-Companion would significantly impact the app's performance, which is already a major concern for Sheet-Only. For users whose primary concern is not performance and who desire features like movement, targeting, and automatic rolls, Sheet-Only is the ideal choice. There is no need to implement the same features twice. πŸ˜…

I’m loving everything I’m seeing but I can’t tell if mobile companion has the same targeting and movement as sheet only, and if not are there plans for it?
