Added 2024-02-12 12:31:40 +0000 UTCMight be a little unpolished, so this might get an update sometime over the next day or so. I was feeling a little under the weather yesterday, but somehow managed to convince myself to finish this. Only just, though.
So! I'm still working out the kinks in Nagato's personality. Canon doesn't give much more than "mediocre, bipolar, and cold," with the added caveat that even Zelretch would go, "What are you, crazy?" It's... Yeah.
As for his abilities, I kind of hinted at it here, but think of this as "level 50 Nagato." Because this is a world where the first HGW didn't happen until Nagato was long dead - and therefore a world where the Fuyuki Grail probably wasn't built until much later - he's got a few higher points in his martial arts skills. He's not Kirei or Old Man Li, he's not even Tempestuous Youth Li, but he's got a few interesting tricks up his sleeves.

You did it, you mad man! You made a Cursery Rhyme joke! On a related note the chapter a while back being called Itsy Bitsy Spider gave me hope Rhyme would become Taylor's Servant and we'd see an alternative story book version of her. Perhaps taking the form of a young Taylor for the others to contrast with the current her. Especially since the Itsy Bitsy Spider story can be taken as a metaphor for Taylor's own story for how simple it is.

Obviously it's just Taylor scouting and looking around, but with the whole "cold, clinical precision" versus Taylor being relatively warm and considerate of the other allies...
