Are Jekyll's speech patterns too much? I tried to make him sound a bit more like a Victorian gentleman, to distinguish him a bit more as a character, but that might be hit or miss in terms of how well it worked for you guys.
Fun fact: that headline is actually from a real London newspaper, dated August 12th, 1888. These Singularities are a bit weird in terms of when exactly they occur, because they're usually just vaguely placed in a year instead of a specific month or day, and London in particular lampshades this, so don't take that as gospel that this is taking place on August 12th.
