Honestly, I don't know why Da Vinci doesn't get involved more often in canon until EoR. Like, sure, she's busy trying to keep the whole place functioning, but there are some parts where it she really should have been consulted. Like the canon Prison Tower event, where it seems like Romani handled everything and couldn't do more than throw up his hands.
But yes. Even Da Vinci can't be perfect and always have every answer.

At the very least, the limited selection of technology multidimensional aliens were willing to drip feed to humans is less complex than a Grand Caster tier curse. One of the most consistent rules in the Nasuverse may as well be "whenever the aliens are involved, things are gonna reach a whole new tier of bullshit in a hurry."
