[Hereafter] Chapter LXX: After Action Reflection
Added 2022-09-25 13:14:10 +0000 UTCHere we go. Some Romani being Romani, some Taylor being Taylor, and the twins being the twins, and also Arash being a total bro. The twins go, "We're shounen heroes! We don't accept ultimatums!" And Taylor's response is basically, "That's nice, but this is a seinen, so those rules don't apply."
The conversation turned a bit heavy for a while there, but these are some of the lessons the twins still need to learn. I feel like Emiya must have had some very complicated feelings watching this from the sidelines. "Just because you're correct doesn't mean you're right!"
This was actually... I wasn't quite sure what to do with this when I first started it, but I don't think the direction it wound up going was necessarily bad. It might feel a little abrupt, though.
EDIT: Moving down.

Makes me think of all the times when I'm in the shower thinking up the perfect responses when someone says something. But in the moment...blegh.

Overconfidence can kill just as fast as lack of faith in yourself, and sooner or later, they're going to have to make some very tough choices.
