Like with this chapter, things are going to be fairly mild for the next few chapters. Lots of setup, lots of character interaction, but not much in the way of fighting, since things are moving away from the Gallian front.
And once you see that moment... It can be easy to forget, but this story is just as much about Taylor learning how to save herself as it is her saving the world (again).
I'm not sure I can dare presume I'm outperforming the original Septem. I'm not sure that's up to me to decide. But I like to think things are at least better connected here than they were in canon.
