[Hereafter] Chapter XLVII: Doppelganger (Twisted Mirror)
Added 2022-03-21 11:55:50 +0000 UTCTaylor is such a munchkin, isn't she?
Well, here we go, moving things forward a bit. There's some downtime, some lessons learned, a short heart to heart, and the explanation for why no, Taylor and the twins will not be pulling off ridiculous Celtic kung fu and matching fists with Servants.
Although, strictly speaking, Sca could have taught Ritsuka that in canon. Setanta proves that a specific Celtic martial arts form exists in Nasu, even if the name chosen for it was pathetic and uninspired. I guess Shishou just doesn't consider canon Ritsu "enough" of a hero to learn them.
Or maybe she doesn't think it's a good idea to give a Master the ability to become a frontline fighter. Because it kind of isn't.
The titular doppelganger doesn't get much showing this chapter, but I liked the reaction everyone had to her appearance.
EDIT: Moving down all the way.

There’s one case of Taylor referring to Nero as ‘him’ while talking to the recovering Queen.

2022-04-21 16:26:49 +0000 UTCNo. I specifically went out of my way to have anyone who *could* have known from gendering Nero, and I even tried to avoid having any of the Chaldea team gender her, either, to avoid giving Boudica the opportunity to correct the record. For the most part, everyone has been calling Nero "Emperor Nero" or "the Emperor." I wanted it to be a surprise for the team. A gigantic "what?" moment where they all have a little freak out about all of the surprising things about Nero.
