Still not totally sold on this chapter title, but I don't have a better one, so I guess this is what it'll be. I thought about "Another Brick in the Road," but I want to keep that one in my back pocket for now.

Not too much happens, this chapter. It's more setup to lead us into getting to Rome and Nero, plus a few other things, so it's not as action packed as the last few chapters. That doesn't mean it's pointless, though.

I'm thinking about bringing in some other Roman emperors, by the way. For all that the canon Singularity talked up the idea of "a coalition of former emperors all joined under one banner," only three of the United Empire's Servants were actual Roman emperors. I think, this time, here, we could do with a few more, eh?
