Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope all of my fellow Americans enjoyed their turkey day celebrations. For those of you who live elsewhere in the world, wherever that may be, don't worry, I don't really get the point of this holiday or its connection to turkey either. I just celebrate it like the rest of the country.

In case the silence on it didn't make it more obvious, this is a break week for me. That means that, unless I'm hit by a sudden and intense burst of inspiration (which isn't out of the question), there won't be a new chapter this week. Holidays generally have a lot of "preparation" involved when it comes to my family, so I tend to take the whole week just to reduce my stress loads.

Come to think of it, maybe I should start posting a calendar at the beginning of the year with all of my scheduled breaks in it. A thought for later.

Things will return to normal next week. We'll be back on schedule for the next chapter of Hereafter, and we'll keep going on schedule until Christmastime about a month from now.
