This one is a little shorter than usual, barely broke 3K, but it has what it needs to have, and adding just more for the sake of padding would bloat it.
Next, there'll be three epilogue chapters to close out the story. A few surprises should still be in store for those.

It's supposed to be ambiguous. I'm toying with the idea of making it more obvious in one of the epilogue chapters, but that's not confirmed, yet.

2021-01-22 09:01:32 +0000 UTCI'm curious about that myself. I'll note though that even if Taylor killed Contessa, there's nothing that says they won't meet in the Throne of Heroes. After all, the Throne is more then 'lauded' Heroes, but all those who made their Mark on the Earth.
