Added 2020-06-18 07:51:50 +0000 UTCMeant to have this out for you guys as soon as it was finished, but got myself involved in something last week that utterly consumed my time in its entirety (and threw off my sleep schedule, too), so I kept putting it off for later, when I had more energy.
As for the fic itself, not sure what else to say about it without giving it away, so... Yeah. I'll let you guys explore it for yourself. The commissioner has expressed interest in continuing it, so you might be seeing more of it in between Essence chapters over the next few months or so. Not sure exactly how far it'll go, but the one thing I'm absolutely certain of is that it won't be anywhere near as big as Essence itself - and thank God, because Essence will easily be the longest single story I've ever written and likely top out somewhere around 600-650K by the time it's done.
(As an aside, Harry and Lisa are both bad at this thing called "normal human interaction," aren't they?)
