Better and Worse
Added 2019-12-18 10:17:18 +0000 UTCSo, those of you who are on the Patron Discord server or follow Essence on SV or FFnet will have already heard: my grandmother passed away last Wednesday, and the memorial service was this Monday.
Things got a little...off track as a result.
I'm okay. My family is okay. This was...a little sudden, but not entirely unexpected. She was in the later stages of Alzheimer's, and it was just a matter of time. All of the events that followed her passing did throw me off a little, and with Christmas right around the corner, I don't know what updates will look like for the rest of December.
Having said that, I'm going to try and get back on track, and try not to get distracted by a couple of new ideas that have popped up in my head the last few days. I intend to get at least one more chapter of Essence out before January, as well as the ??? Alternate short and maybe even another chapter of Recursive Wisdom.
I realize that this might not exactly be welcome news, but I thought it only fair to let you guys know what's been going on and what I plan on doing over the next couple of weeks.
