In Passing

My grandfather just passed away.
It's... I talked about it on the Discord server, but the long and short of it is, this was expected. I got told on Saturday that he'd declined pretty rapidly over the course of the week, to the point where he couldn't even keep water down. It was...inevitable.
When I saw him on Sunday for the last time, he was...basically skin and bones. He couldn't string a coherent sentence together, and he was hallucinating, from the pain meds they had him on. I knew he...wasn't going to last long.
Any work I get done this week, therefore, is going to be in spite of the funeral arrangements and everything. I don't know, yet, when it's all going to be or anything, or if there's a will or any other legal thing that's going to go along with it.
I'm...not quite sure it's hit me, yet? But...for all the things we disagreed about, he was still my grandfather, and I'm still going to miss him.
