Ahem. Anyway. Not sure how much each of you has been keeping up with this as I worked on it, so I'm not sure what's spoilers for it and what's not. Honestly, it's just a fight, so there's nothing super spoilery to begin with.
There were some parts, here, where I had to keep the characters on a particular track, and you might find them, if you look hard enough, and part of that is that I have trouble with large scale battles, particularly keeping track of where everyone is and what they're doing, and part of it is that if I just let them do everything on their own, this fight would have ballooned even farther out of control. I didn't want that, it's already much bigger than I intended to begin with, so I had to "hand of the author" a little at one or two points to keep it manageable.
Again, this is all coming much later than I wanted it to, but I thank you guys who have stuck around for understanding that this whole experience has been a trial and a half. If I could afford to, I would have made September and October "no charges" months for you guys, as apology, but it simply wasn't feasible.
