Medusa (Antiquity)

...Except she's a demigod in Eternityverse, so she should actually have gold in her hair. Whoops.
Whatever you do, don't look her in the eyes. That's guaranteed death.
So, when I first conceived of what Medusa would look like in the Eternityverse, I only had vague traits in mind. Things that she would naturally have, given her character, her backstory, and the universal traits demigods have in the Eternityverse.
I didn't have a solid idea of more specific things, though, so I started looking up Greek actresses. That's how I stumbled upon Katerina Geronikolou (κατερίνα γερονικολού), and I just went, "Yes, that's Medusa. That's her, right there." I tried to reproduce her facial features for Medusa, but it's probably a bit harder to see that, because Medusa's got a different skin tone, different hair, and most importantly, those eyes. Those big, snakelike eyes.
