Better sound quality ; )

EXCITING DAY for me! 

I put for my goal on Patreon a long time ago that if I reach $800 I would buy a new mic. Last month, I reached that goal. A Patron from Germany had a gently used mic in the exact brand and type that I wanted ironically and offered to send it to me. I don't even know if he knew that it was my goal when I reached the $800 to buy the mic or if this was just all a coincidence but it all happened at once. However  we couldn't figure out how to do that discreetly from Germany to the USA so as not to give away  my identity etc. So  unbeknownst to me another Patron surprised me with an Amazon card for the mic. It was a complete surprise, I had no idea he was going to do that until I got the note from him and the code # for Amazon. He had seen that it was my goal and asked if I had bought the mic yet. I told him not yet and then ten min later a gift card came in my email.

 I shopped around for a few days on Amazon and then finally found one and put it in my cart. The one I chose was more expensive than the one he thought I would get so more than the gift card, which is fine. However, I waited on the purchase for some unknown reason. And then three days later, I went to my cart to purchase the mic and noticed it had gone on sale for $28 off. YESS! Procrastination paid off. I had enough to purchase the mic AND a filter for it too. It all just arrived today. The mic is so big and heavy and I am SOOOOO excited. 

Currently, I am finishing an edging game audio for you all and an old Succubus audio. I am using my old mic so will continue doing that for these audios. AND THEN for the next and final audio coming this month, I am going to use my new microphone. I hope it sounds like I am right next to you, whispering sexy things in your ears. mmmmm....

My next goal is to buy a big sturdy desk for my equipment. I currently am using a small wobbly tv tray. I actually broke the legs off of my current mic because it has fallen off the tray so many times. I use a drinking glass for the legs, lol. Oh the joys of being a "starving artist".  But it is getting better every month : ).  I'll get there. Slowly, but surely my business is growing. . . 

I can't quit smiling : )
