Takahashi Meijin’s popular now to be one of the kids most popular gaming super stars!! He was on TV and in the Manga.. so what next!
Hudson Soft put him in their games! Hudson Soft got the license for Sega’s Wonder Boy arcade game. But they did not own the Wonder Boy name .. so they need to make new characters. The game became called Takahashi Meijin no Bōken Jima (高橋名人の冒険島) in Japan and Adventure Island in western countries. The main character in Japan is Master Takahashi using Takahashi Meijin’s personality! In west this was changed to Master Higgins. .
This series was very popular and was on many consoles including Game Boy and Super Famicom.
Now Mr Takahashi-san is 65 years old and can not shoot the button as fast as before. But he did have some return with Nintendo Switch Star Gagnant which you can see me play here! He is the captain in the game and there is virtual 16 Shot trigger game mode included!!

Have you ever played Star Soldier? It's super hard!!!!! I much prefer the PCE game Super Star Soldier. It's still kind of difficult.
