Gaming Historica | Sonic Xtreme: The Lost Sega Saturn Sonic Game

This game was being made as the first full 3D Sonic game for Sega Saturn and was two years before Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast was released. Unfortunately the making had trouble and Sonic Xtreme was cancelled in 1996.. after this Sega released Sonic 3D Blast instead. Some of the sprite in Sonic Xtreme were used later in a educational game called Sonic Schoolhouse on PC!
Today there are some fans who found the original code for the game and rebuild this project so it can be played!! Amazing! ♥️ The game and stages are unfinished and simple but the camera is very interesting and you can run through the 3D space collecting rings. It is easy to fall off the world but you can easily reset.
I have attached the file to play this game on your Sega Saturn emulator or Saroo card. Have fun with this history! 🤗

They might’ve been thinking about that yeah. I know when a new council is being made and it is going to be introduced most companies put the focus on that. Sonic Adventure was a good seller so I don’t blame them.
