In around the year 2000 there were three sewing machines release called Nuotto that could work together with the Game Boy Color to sew pattern and shapes together! ♥️
The three types were made by Jaguar and Singer and had special slot and link cable to fit and attach the GameBoy console. The Game Boy needed a special game for stitching Called the Raku x Raku series.. in this game you can choose from many patterns and it can even sew Mario onto your materials! 😮
From three type of machine two are made by Jaguar for Japan market. But one was release in the west also! The Singer IZEK 1500 😄
There was a special attachment release for the Jaguar types that could make detailed embroidery. .
Amazing thing to exist!! And now all so expensive…

I thought that was yours haha I can really see the appeal of a parent who is into sewing back when the game boy was popular and using it to make some cool design on a blanket or a shirt for their child. That would be my first thought. If I knew anything about sewing, I might’ve done it from myself haha

2024-12-19 15:24:06 +0000 UTCI remember watching an episode of AVGN (Angry Video Game Nerd) on YouTube where he did a game boy accessory episode and he talked about this. I somehow have not seen photos of the actual sewing machine or it being hooked up since seeing the episode. He didn’t have any to display so I never got to see it hooked up until now. Another super cool thing that I got to see because of your awesome collection. I’d like to imagine that someone had the idea of stitching something together for their child or grandchild with this for a gift. With Mario always being a popular character I could see them wanting to make something custom with Mario to give us a gift.
