I’m so happy you’re really enjoying this series. I’d call it alternate history/playing with history as well. I’m a big fan of it. Yeah I really enjoy the tracks but many of them are pretty straightforward compared to the other anime you mentioned. As mentioned before, Iri has known and basically encouraged the relationship between Kiritsugu and Maiya. I would say that I don’t think Kiritsugu is romantically interested in Maiya in the same way that he is devoted to Iri though, at least as per what we’ve seen so far. Kiritsugu is a character who’s not very honest with anyone about his emotions, connections or motivations (see giving Iri Avalon to protect her but saying it’s just for efficiency). I’m curious as more is revealed if your opinion of him will change or not. I really like the dichotomy of Kirei with Kiritsugu and how they explore it. Waver gets to show his strong points this episode, which was fun. Also I like how Iskandar takes a sort of mentorship role for Waver as well. One of my favorite parts of the type moon universe, or at least the Fate timelines, is seeing how much of an impact Iskandar has on Waver’s whole sense of being and way of life. The next episode is a good one if it’s the one I think it is! Also I personally like the music that plays at the part I’m thinking of, I wonder what your opinion on it will be.
