Fun fact about Viral, his voice actor is actually the VA for Adult Link from Ocarina of Time! If you remember any of the yells or grunts Link does, you can definitely hear it with Viral.

They were originally going to switch animation teams every once in a while but the difference in quality was poorly received and they just went with the original one going forward.
