This is a maybe once in a lifetime production for me. Every single aspect of this adaptation is masterfully done. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us as you go along. I've seen others spend much more time discussing the show in their reactions and despite that I don't think I've seen anyone just connect to the show like you have. I've rewatched this season over 20 times and somehow you've got me tearing up at the bits I didn't even tear up at the first time I watched! Once again, thank you. It's a blessing to be able to share this experience with others.

Your reactions are such a treat, and I've been saving this one for a time when I can sit down with a cup of tea to properly enjoy it. Thank you so much for it!

I truly truly recommend you watch the animated video for the song as well which will get you really emotional if you pay attention to it. I called it that you would much prefer it over the first one as well. BTW the ending is the same song throughout the entire season Anytime, Anywhere by Milet another of my favorite singers. As for Sein, its incredible how they were able to bring him into the party and fit him right in. They make him leave the party and even if I haven't read what happens after S1 I easily maintained the same outlook as Frieren. "We will see him again" as obvious as it is considering its a long story. Also, on a side note you probably haven't heard this story but there was a news report of a man who prevented a stabbing in Taiwan last year. His reasoning for his heroic act, "Its what Himmel would have done." Which is the same reason Frieren tries to impact others the way Himmel impacted her life.
