The humming song is the same melody as the French horn theme that usually accompanies memories of Himmel and the others, and the song title (of the horn version) is βGone But Not Forgottenβ πππ They both also end with a melodic line that first plays in βThe Land Where Souls Restβ which plays when the party all agrees with Heiter to pray for Eisenβs family and choose to believe in heaven. Itβs probably my favorite musical detail in the whole series

2025-02-17 21:13:54 +0000 UTCOne thing I'll mention that other people haven't. I don't think Freiren is in love with Himmel, at least not in a romantic way. I think she feels a way toward him that she hadn't in over a thousand years; not since Flamme. She has a level of respect and fondness towards him, and more than anything her life and her personality was effected by him, which is something that almost never happens for her.

2025-01-19 06:22:46 +0000 UTCI love the part where Himmel shows how truly he was a hero. Despite not fulfilling the prophecy, he didn't let it stop him from achieving his dreams. He will take his own destiny into his own hands, and then it won't matter if he is a fake hero on paper.

2025-01-17 11:05:27 +0000 UTCThis episode has one of the best moments in the series. How it proves that Himmel wasn't the chosen one. He wasn't chosen as the hero, he became the hero. I also love Frieren's and Fern's relationship the most in the series. Fern loves Frieren no matrer how annoying she may be. Its literally a little sister taking care of her big sister. Also don't think it plays at the last episode but I think it would be a great idea if you listened to the maim theme - Journey of a Lifetime, after you finish this season. I think it wouls be a great send off.

2025-01-10 03:03:52 +0000 UTCThis episode solidifies our party. A corrupt priest, a coward warrior, a disgraced mage, and a fake hero. Goes to show our heroes don't need to be perfect, just willing to give everything they have despite their faults to save the world. Beautiful
