I think the beauty of this theme is two-fold, on one hand there is a feeling of catharsis like rising above the waves that have felt so overwhelming and consuming but also that tinge of sinister and mysterious quality which is prominent for most of the game. It feels heavenly but also like having an awareness of something beyond just one’s individual personhood.
