My video editor and I are shifted towards a more "video essay" approach to entice audiences and hopefully gain more general video retention. I'd love your feedback on whether you like this style or not. I for one am a big fan of it and it feels like the natural evolution for the channel. Honestly, I like this style. I think it really suits this channel!

I think it works for your channel too, as it had already some essay (or essay-like) stuff mixed with the same reactions. It seems like a natural evolution to add more essay in the content and tbh, for me it makes the videos more interesting.
