July Update

Hey all! 

I realize some of you don't have Discord. So, I'll just post generally, here. 

I've decided that once a month, I'll shoot over an update post. Feel free to read it or not. This is mostly so you can get a feel for what's going on behind the scenes and, I dunno, just read about how things are going. 

June was a weird month! I was supposed to go out of town to visit with some friends, but I got sick! So, I ended up cancelling. it sucked. It allowed me some space to look at the channel and ways to improve it etc. 

I'm LOVING the suggestions you have added to the suggestions thread, I'm working my way through them now. I'm trying to really LISTEN to each piece before recording it, just because I felt with blind reacts exclusively, I was missing out on a lot of cool details and things. 

On the subject of suggestions, you should be seeing more of them pop up on the channel. I've shifted my approach a bit. Mondays are currently for past requests (i changed up the patreon a bit when I added suggestions so I still have a pretty big backlog), Wednesdays, are my choice days, days that I offer up whatever content I want, could be a suggestion, could be a patreon request, could be one of the suggestions, and Fridays are suggestion days! I'm going to lead with this, this month and see how we feel about it in August. I'm probably going to keep the current suggestions thread up throughout the Summer and rotate it come late August/September. Feel free to add more suggestions as they pop into your head each month (not more than 2 though) so I can pull from them. 

Just trying to also slow down a bit and not bombard myself with "things" that need to be done. Especially when thinking long term. The room to evolve the channel is pretty important to me. 

I wanted to apologize on the early access thing. I've had to remove the editor I was using due to resources and time so I end up just editing and feverishly posting on my own so often I don't get to release a video early to you. I am trying to work on this, as I know it's a valued perk! When I have released a video early, I've posted it to Discord, too. So I'll be sure to post them here, as well. 

Really, I've also been thinking about lowering the price overall again - request tier will stay the same, but suggestion tier I'm debating lowering to $7.50 or $5, which, I'm sorry, I know is annoying. But, I feel that maybe it's too much. Not to undervalue myself. I'm just trying to remove any sort of pressure on either end, $5 might be more stomach-able for you, generally. I don't know, just percolating. 

In any event, I'm excited for July. Live streaming NieR: Replicant after finishing Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker (hopefully next week?), and adding Genshin into the mix as well. Not to mention two opera streams and the Ace Combat: 25th anniversary concert. Trying to solidify dates so I can make an "official" announcement.
