Semi-Quick Update

I managed to find an angle on one of them to keep it from being yet another diatribe against all the things that she believes in. Like, obviously you need to talk her out of supporting Cthulhu's plan, but if you just keep hitting that over and over again it's not very interesting.
I'm thinking of doing a general pass-through the story to emphasize that yes, Cthulhu is very obviously a metaphor for things like project 2025. I think it should be pretty obvious from the text but I feel like hitting it a little harder. Everything that's been going on in the world lately has been making me pretty damn anxious and expressing myself through art is one way I grapple with those demons.
I'm pretty much assuming that this game is going to alienate a few people because it's not a comedy, not romantic, and extremely political. It's one of the reasons why I'm not even gonna bother selling it, this is definitely a free release. But I need to do something in the face of what's shaping up to be very much the strange aeon, in which scapegoats (like me and my family) may very well be sacrificed...
Once I get through Aza's scenes, which have been very difficult to get out, then I can move onto Yog. It may take some work getting him down as well because his whole thing is apathy, which fits thematically but may not make for compelling dialogue. I'll see if I can find an angle.
I've also been pondering the game that I'll make after this one. Something a little lighter and zanier, but still satirical to an extent. But it's premature to really go too hard on that yet. That's on top of grappling with my health situation which is really limiting my ability to work in general. So, just more to come.
