{ star tier+ } DELTARUNE and the Fourth Wall: CH3+4 VIDEO PROGRESS 07.10.25

hello everyone!!! i hope your summer's been going well ^^

it is now some ways into july, and we are over a month out from when Chapters 3 and 4 released. naturally, you can imagine that i've started actually putting some things together for what Will be the next mollystars video, covering these new chapters in-depth. lemme update you a bit about that!

PROGRESS SO FAR:

right now, i am still effectively in the pre-production/prepping stages of this one. i took most of June off to just enjoy the chapters more casually, but as of the last few weeks, i've started to slowly, but surely, gather all of the assets that i will need to make this next video. i spent about a week recording all of the footage i needed for it, and grabbing whatever footage i didn't record from Elsewhere, and basically just making sure that if i ever need to refer to something, i have a thing to point to. there's still a few things i'm sure i missed, but it should be Very minimal once i get down to actually making it.

but, alongside recording, i also took a LOT of notes on the new chapters as i replayed them. specifically, i made a new spreadsheet's worth of them! i'll be linking it in this post at the bottom, but in essence, it contains all of the notes i wrote from top to bottom, the list of every all caps file/all caps song name or files/names Relevant to that, and then a BUNCH of threads i made that effectively are just all of those notes, categorized accordingly. this was done to essentially figure out what the hell the flow of the whole video will even be, as at the moment, i'm still intending on this just being one huge vid. and, as of writing this, that process of outlining the video is finally complete!

the rough structure of this video, looks like it will consist of an intro, a preface/catch-up segment to go over the buildup to release, and the VERY general ideas behind TDT so everyone's on the same page; and then a section for each chapter with an intermission somewhere in the middle of that; and finally, a few sections dedicated to analyzing all threads/points that i think are worth distinguishing, and pointing out any particular loose ends from the new Chapters. so, something like:

-intro

-PREFACE

-CHAPTER 3

-INTERMISSION

-CHAPTER 4

-ANALYSIS

-LOOSE ENDS

-outro

with each of these sections outlined, and a pretty good flow in my head figured out for how i'll cover everything, this essentially makes me now fully prepared to start writing the script for this video, proper. this is the point where it'll become clear whether this will even be just one video, or split into two; i kind of don't want to split it just because i really would prefer to not have the pressure of a multi-part thing on my mind, but if one video proves to just be too god damn long, i'll go ahead and do just that. it's really just going to come down to how i analyze everything, and how long scriptwriting will take. however, this does at least mean that i'm ready to start the process for this thing as soon as i'm ready to, and by my next update, i hope to have a full script ready for y'all as well!

so, that's the pre-production side of stuff. i've also been doing some prep here and there w/ my setup and getting some new visual (and soon even musical) assets ready for the video as i start getting into making it Real. there is going to be a Lot prepared w/ the production quality of this one, and i'm just fully letting loose w/ this video as much as i can, lol. it'll be a lot, but i think it will make for a very fun/pleasant viewing experience :]

i hope to have more to say soon! again, the huge fucking spreadsheet of notes i made will be attached to this post, and aside from doing some artfight/personal things here and there, i'll be sure to work on this video steadily, even if a bit slowly. i Really want to make sure this one holds up as well as TDT so far has.
