So, Xena was able to (at least, in this instance) use Lao Ma's chi powers (or whatever they are) to break free. I don't assume she would always be able to silence her will like that. I feel a little mixed when it comes to Lao Ma being depicted as the wife of Lao Tzu, a real historical person, author of the Tao Te Ching. Here, he is made a "vicious tyrant," and Lao Ma given the credit for his writings. It's a cool detail we learn that it was Lao Ma who gave Xena the title "warrior princess." I was fairly certain you would enjoy this episode. 😁
