{ space tier+ } Part 2 production update 8.21.23

hey!

as you may know from the shenanigans i was pulling on twitter, neocities, and the YT community posts, since some days ago, Part 2 has officially finished its major edits. in fact, at *this* moment, it's all uploaded and properly formatted and is pretty much FINALLY ready to go, credits *and* moon tier+ secrets included.

it's just about done! and i'm kind of just baffled at how i've managed to finish this one within a few months, but i'm glad i did, considering the UT/DR anniversary is coming up soon and i'd like to just include any new info either in Part 3 or in some other thing altogether at this point. but, at long last, the new video is coming VERY soon.

(in fact, keep this between us, but it's scheduled to release some time this week =v= )

overall, thank you all for your patience during this video's production. i know this sounds insane of me, but i really think i could've gotten it done even sooner if i REALLY tried, or if i didnt go out of my way to take a break in the middle of working on it. but i've also realized that apparently, getting up to 10 mins in editing done in a given day is actually fucking inhumane speeds to other people. i never really had much of a "scale" for how much people expect one person to work on a video in any given day but now i do! and i guess i just work really fucking fast for no good reason JKLDGHJKL

that said, the video itself is done, but i do have one more thing i'm working on before i can REALLY say Part 2 is completely ready. that being, the means to which you'll all know its exact release day. in essence, the teaser video for Part 2 is the last thing i need to do, and i'm already getting to work on it and i don't expect it to take any longer than a day or two to finish. but once that's done and out there, save for any comment response streams i may do after the fact, i can officially put Part 2 behind me.

this video has by far been the absolute biggest one i've ever made of this format. i have technically made longer videos than this, but this is the longest one of *this* production quality and *this* specific format, for sure. and frankly, i hope it stays that way, because i'll tell ya, i was really feeling the weight of it by the later end of production JKLDGHJKL the final runtime sits at 2 hours, 32 minutes, and 25 seconds. it's. a lot. and i'm hoping the pacing is all good and that people do enjoy it, because it covers a LOT of more dense topics that i was initially avoiding covering in the first part because i knew i'd need to mention Chapter 2 for those topics anyway. but it's done. and i can safely say that i've made probably the most absurdly scaled video i'll have made for a good while, even compared to whatever Part 3 will be like.

of course, after this one's release, i will be taking a solid break from working on...anything, really, for a bit. because given how insanely huge this video is, i need to give myself some time to really think before i start working on other stuff. and even then, i think i'll wanna take some time regardless to work on personal projects first so i can feel a bit more refreshed hopefully going into Part 3's production, which, i don't imagine will start proper until *at least* after the UT/DR anniversary, just so that i'm fully up to date with any potential info for DR for the time being. Part 2 especially was pretty much the main thing on my mind for this whole summer, and i think a cooldown from thinking about videos would definitely help, as i absolutely want to make sure Part 3 is worked on with care. but, that'll be future me's thing to worry about. for now, we have a fucking massive video coming down the pipeline, and i hope when it's out, that y'all will like it. i def went a lot harder on this one now that i know people *want* to see more of it.
