Quite a devastating episode especially at the finish but I'm glad you appreciate how good this show is despite how emotional it can make you. And never apologise for your sharing your stories. We can love families even when they still frustrate us at times. I feel myself I'm at an age now where i notice even more how fragmented the world has become again and I think the basic problem is lack of communication and understanding which is an ironic statement I know when you consider all the avenues open to us to learn and to talk - though some of those avenues have helped increase the problems also ironically. Saddest thing to me is seeing people who've been discriminated against who turn the same behaviours on others when they should understand more what it feels like to be targeted. They don't seem to have learned from their experiences the same some people don't seem to learn from our history. We still have a LONG way to go. The power of this show though was summed up in a story Kathryn Morris relayed at the Burbank con a couple of weeks ago. She was walking down the street back when the show was airing and someone recognised her and shouted out to her "At least someone cares!" I think that hits it totally and the problems with the world right now- we need to care MORE.
