I'm so glad you really enjoyed this and had I known what a big Jeff Goldblum fan you were I would have introduced you to it sooner! It's always been a big favourite movie of mine and still needs to be discovered by a lot of people out there because it's quite forgotten. This was Cyndi Lauper's acting debut and she does a great job and her and Jeff have some genuine chemistry that makes the journey even more fun. Peter Falk who played Harry (and is well known for playing the eccentric detective Columbo in the classic series) did indeed have one artificial eye because he had one surgically removed at age 3 because of a retinoblastoma. I'm glad you're keeping this to watch again and happy you'll share it with some friends too :-) It needs more love!
