2024-11-12 19:57:47 +0000 UTCYou're right, we have been warned about the dangers of technology for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time in science fiction and the best science fiction is always thinking well ahead - things that shows and movies I grew up watching (also a longggggggggg time time ago lol) were predictive about are pretty much happening now all around us. It's funny too when you mention addiction to and reliance on tech, I really grew up in the pre-swamped in personal tech age and I think it makes it easier for me to shut off from social media and my phone notifications when I choose to. It's definitely healthy - and less costly - that way. I do think you should do that podcast though because seriously I've seen some very straight talking ones surviving without being cancelled and I have a feeling I'd enjoy you doing that as much as i enjoy you here :-) I do actually wanna do a podcast/reaction/interview channel next year, it's long been on my bucket list and I've been prepping for it for a while. It's great to be back here anyway and I enjoyed that reaction :-)
