Glad you had some tissues there - often a requirement with a Cold Case episode! This is another of what I consider the best episodes of Season 1 especially the final quarter where Lilly persuades James to face what he did - I keep saying how Kathryn Morris didn't get an Emmy award for this show I can't imagine! I think it also makes a big difference to Lilly seeing someone with genuine regret about their involvement in a crime here when she sees so many who are selfish and have no feelings at all. Regarding the story you told halfway through about that appalling crime in your country there sadly is no end to what power tries to cover up - especially in a world when governments are doing it all the time.
