I really like this episode. Although Hephaestus was in the wrong when he caused Syllabus to vanish, Aphrodite wasn't any better (actually, worse) in her previous appearance, when she tried to start a war to protect her temples. ... Aphrodite is certainly much older than Hercules. But she refers to him, at different times, as both big brother and little brother; "little" in reference to his actual age, "big" in terms of how they relate to each other.
