2024-04-19 14:24:51 +0000 UTCIt's easy to miss, but I love this small bit when Gabrielle talks about going somewhere because she thinks Iolaus is there, planning to bring him back to help save the town when she thinks Xena is dead. Anyway, this is a great episode, and Gabby is the biggest highlight. Plus, now we have intrigue. 👀

2024-04-19 14:14:51 +0000 UTCThis is the Season 1 episode that for me takes an already great show and starts taking it to another level. The switch from humour to real drama in this one - especially with some of Renee O'Connor's acting when Gabrielle believes Xena is dead - is really well done. And Gabrielle's stand to protect Xena is a really important step for her character. Trust me, you've got some great stuff coming! Can't wait for next week's reaction :-) Oh, and I would advise holding off reading any fan-fic til you finish the series as a lot of it contains series spoilers and would really ruin some big surprises you got coming - trust me on that too.
