I disagree. I think they understand him a lot more than some fans do.

2022-11-11 13:25:16 +0000 UTCNot a big fan of this episode, but there are some funny bits ("Thank you, Bear 🐻") 😂 In general, I'm not a fan of how the Angel writers wrote Spike in season 5....their vision of Spike vs BtVS writers vision of Spike are different. It can be annoying and I'm never really able to make the adjustment.
