2022-03-08 02:36:24 +0000 UTCOooh... I understand now. I kept thinking it was too in the side for her to die and aparently the bullet came out so she could have (SHOULD HAVE) survived... but I guess her death was too important for Wil's character development :'(

So the bullet would have traveled up and through her chest, more than likely hitting the heart from that angle. Buffy was shot straight on, so straight through, Tara was not. Else it would've hit Willow too

2022-02-22 18:33:58 +0000 UTCMany people have a false belief that the heart is on the left side of the chest, rather than in the middle. So, Tara was shot through the heart even though it's in the wrong place.
