2021-10-22 16:30:57 +0000 UTCWith Fred at the end I took it not so much that she wanted to confess feelings for Angel, more like she knew she was still nuts and acting crazy and she couldn't get back to normal even after being rescued, and Angel can't help her regain her sanity and purpose. Fred was too traumatized by whatever happened in Pylea those five years. It's all a big metaphor for young people going out into the world after college, being lost, feeling lost, no friends at first, no purpose, and really feeling beat down by the system. Fred escaped the hell dimension but feels the same way in L.A. Unless she finds her purpose.
