The minor germophobic tendencies I inherited, that were quickly squashed by fibromyalgia, kind of loves anyone freaking out over the kerchief. Actually there are remnants. My best friend stopped a suicide issue I had with driving by describing potential grease and dirt getting into wounds if I should survive. Worked surprisingly well.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who plays Buffy, is 5'4" while Marc Blucas, who plays Riley, is 6'2". I don't know why the head kerchief thing bothers you so much. It's not like it's soaked in oil and grease and I have to imagine Buffy washes it from time to time. You've honestly never seen or heard of pickled eggs before? They're a common sight at dive bars. No refrigeration needed and they last for months.
