Anthony Stewart Head who plays Giles is 6'1". Edward, the black guy in the beginning of the episode, is played by Walter Jones who indeed was the original Black Ranger in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers tv show. Anytime live animals are used on a filming set, the American Humane Society requires one of their members to be on hand to ensure nothing is done that would harm the animal. Xander's fear is being left behind while the others are at college. Willow's fear is getting too far out of her league with magic. Oz's fear is losing control and hurting those he loves. Buffy's fear is being abandoned by those she loves and being alone because she is the Slayer.
