You're not the only one that felt that Angel feeding on Buffy was very sexualized. Even for this decade, Buffy is still ahead of it's time. There is a reboot in the mix right now. Series creator Joss Whedon isn't a part of it though.

2020-11-15 03:56:31 +0000 UTCI'm sure you've heard this a bunch of times, but Buffy was a pioneer when it comes to blending stand-alone episodes and story arcs. Very few shows did this before Buffy, but many shows have done it since. So Buffy was part of a new wave of carefully constructed serialized shows along with Twin Peaks, Babylon 5, and a couple of other shows that I am less familiar with.
