Emily's birthday is July 11th, which makes her a Cancer. Emily lost some money on the stock trade, yes, but it would've been just a small amount compared to her entire portfolio. The point was to dupe Harmon into also purchasing the stock knowing full well it was going to bomb, thereby losing LOTS of money for his clients. If you want a more boring and detailed explanation as to what happened, I can give it to you. The official name for salt water would be saline water in English, but nobody ever calls it that. While you're right about beach houses being more susceptible to wear and tear, there are extra treatments you can apply to prevent them, and believe me, a Hamptons beach house would definitely have those things.
