Yeah, even if I wouldn't have seen my grandpa go through that I think I would still feel the same about it. Religious people always say "the person will leave when God wants" and I'm like... ugh, I hate when they say that

2019-01-04 20:13:14 +0000 UTCAfter seeing my mother die of cancer, and how long the body takes to decay and give up, it is NOT easy like the movies, it is extremely painful and the person suffers a lot. Euthanasia is definitely something that should be allowed and be legal everywhere for those dying who consent to it. Everyone who has experienced it with a loved one would understand, it's not they don't want to die, if it's inevitable and nothing to be done everything else feels cruel. I feel for all that have suffered such loss, and thank you for sharing such a personal moment.
