Jamie and Claire were separated during 20 years. After Culloden, Jamie lived in a cave near Lallybroch (1746-1753) for 7 years, then he went to Ardsmuirs prison. In 1755 Lord John arrived there. Then prison closed in 1756 and Jamie had to live at Hellwater. His son is born in 1758 and Jamie goes back home in 1764. He marries Lagohaire and Claire arrives in 1766. They build Fraser's ridge in 1767. Lord John and William visit them in 1768. The boy is 10 years old. :)
