The big guy that appears in the Mvs goes by MassOfMan. And Young Posse finally got to meet him when they went to New York City a few months ago. They also met Token, the third guy rapping in the Posse Up remix, around that same time. Yeah I hope big guy and YP get to collab on a song together. He’s a solid rapper from little I heard of his music. YP music is just fun and I love it. Like there’s not a ‘concrete’ or very rooted concept, but it just sounds like a group of girls stumble into a studio one day and went “let’s just make music and roll with it”. It’s almost refreshing to me when nowadays a lot of Kpop has storylines, a rooted concept, or they are within their own box while occasionally stepping out of it. Young Posse feels like they are just making music solely because it’s fun and for the vibes. They don’t need to have some centered storyline or concept to be bubbled in, they just make music that they like and that’s it Actually, in video game terms, Young Posse is like an open world game where there’s a main story but otherwise you just do whatever you want. “Ate That” and “Umbrella” are my favs. “Bananas” sounds like those ringtone rap songs you heard during those commercials where you have to text a code in order to get the ringtone lol.
